Arthur L. Pressman, Principal, Arthur L. Pressman Dispute Resolution Services, LLC
Arthur is an attorney, mediator, arbitrator and law school faculty at Boston University School of Law. His mediation and arbitration practice focuses on commercial disputes involving trademark and copyright issues.
Arthur’s law practice has included arbitration and mediation since the early 1990s. He retired as an equity partner at Nixon Peabody LLP, an international law firm, in 2017, and has been a full-time arbitrator and mediator since then. He is a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, UK; member of the American Arbitration Association, Large, Complex Case Panel; Distinguished Fellow in the International Academy of Mediators; Certified International Mediator by the International Mediation Institute, The Hague; Fellow, Distinguished Academy of Neutrals; member, CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals; International Bar Association mediation subcommittee.
Since 2012 he has taught international lawyers and law students since 2012 in the LLM in American Law Program of Boston University School of Law, and at Chuyo University School of Law (2018)(Tokyo) and Translegal Institute (2020)(Shanghai). Arthur has participated as faculty and judge at law school- and Bar Association- sponsored international negotiation and mediation events in Vienna, Goa (India), and Boston. He was appointed to the original Arbitration and Mediation pools of CAfA in March 2023.
