Berry Van Drunen

Berry has been advocaat (lawyer) since 2005 and ADR International Full
Certified Arbitrator | Mediator since 2011. He focuses on employment law,
art law, and commercial law. Berry is Founding Partner of Van Drunen
De Birk advocaten B.V. and Chairman to the Regulations Committee at
the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB). Berry is a frequent speaker.
Berry’s law practice has included arbitration and mediation since 2011. He
has served as ADR International Full Certified Arbitrator | Mediator ever
since, in a wide range of disputes at both domestic and international level.
He is a member to the ADR Register for International Certified Conflict
Navigators. Berry is also a court-appointed mediator for the courts of
Amsterdam and Alkmaar. He has participated as faculty and judge at the
pleading competition of the Dutch Bar Association to the Dutch Supreme
Court and law school-events, and has conducted trainings for a variety of
training institutes. During his studies, Berry was advisor to the educational
director Masters at the Utrecht University. Berry was appointed to the
original Arbitration and Mediation pools of CAfA in January 2023.
Berry’s educational background includes: a masters in Dutch civil law
(privaatrecht) at the Utrecht University (Universiteit Utrecht), a
professional training (beroepsopleiding) at The Netherlands Bar
(Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten) and a Mediation Course at Dialogue.
