Federica is an attorney, mediator and arbitrator focused on commercial law, art law and copyright. She is constantly invited as a speaker at the IP Annual Conference of the Instituto Peruano de Arbitraje (her last intervention on the arbitrability of IP disputes can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aPU4XGAmpE). She focuses on a wide variety of sectors, including commercial disputes concerning art related matters. She has advised artists and/or their agents on the review of commercial agreements, royalties, distribution, art installation and transportation of art works. She has acted as counsel against publishing companies for the recovery of royalties due to artists.

Federica has 15 years of extensive experience in arbitration and mediation. She has served as arbitrator in a wide range of sectors and commercial disputes at both the domestic and international level.

She has been recognized as Future Leader in international arbitration in the Global Arbitration Review Who’s Who Legal in 2021, 2020 and 2019.

She is Chair of R.E.A.L. (Racial Equality for Arbitration Lawyers) Committee no. 5 (Conferences and Events) and an active member of the Club Español de Arbitraje, Capítulo Italiano, of ArbIt and of ArbitralWomen.

Federica’s educational background includes: J.D. from the Università Statale di Milano (Italy) – major in international law; Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (admission pending as of May 2022); LLM Candidate, Queen Mary University of London, International Dispute Resolution. She is fluent in English and Spanish, as well as Italian (mother tongue). She is able to also work in French and has a limited knowledge of German.
