Art Expert
Caterina is an art expert and art surveyor specializing in loss adjustment, art pricing, art market, authenticity and attribution. She is listed as art expert for the Mediation Body of the Bar Association of Rome. She is a court appointed expert at Civil and Criminal Court of Rome and the Chamber of Commerce of Rome. She acts as consultant for several law firms in both criminal cases and civil controversies. She acts as an art consultant for the Bank of Italy.
Caterina’s practice has included a long experience with insurance companies and private collectors in assessing artworks value and managing art loss claims. She was technical director for ArtNetWorth, an art advisory company, managing and coordinating a large network of art experts all around Italy. She was appointed to the original Arbitration pool of CAfA in January 2020.
Caterina’s educational background includes: B.A. in Art History (La Sapienza University, Rome), Master’s degree in Art Management Psychology (La Sapienza University, Rome), Specializing Course in Art Fairs and Market (Sotheby’s Institute, London).
