Giuseppe is an attorney, mediator and arbitrator focused on art law, copyright, entertainment and commercial law. He is a member of CBM & Partners, a law firm based in Milan, established in 1909. He is the current Co-Chair of the Art, Cultural Institutions and Heritage Law Committee of the IBA and the Italian representative of the European Association of Cultural Property Lawyers, as well as non-executive board member (EACPL). He regularly participates as a speaker in conferences organized by art market stakeholders in Italy and abroad. He regularly taught art law in post graduate courses organized by universities and other private institutions. He is the author of the Italian section of the Art Law volume edited by Getting the Deal Through and has published extensively on issues related to art law and business.

Giuseppe’s law practice has included arbitration and mediation since 1990. He has served as Arbitrator and Mediator in a wide range of art law and commercial disputes at both the domestic and international level. He was appointed to the original Arbitration pool of CAfA in January 2020.

Giuseppe’s educational background includes: University of Milan, Law School (J.D., 1984); Harvard Law School (LL.M., 1990). He speaks English, French and Italian.
