Jan is a lawyer and a previous partner of the law firm of Advokatfirman Vinge, Stockholm.
Jan is an attorney focused on art law. He has been the attorney of the national Moderna Museet (owned by the state) for some 15 years. He has also been the chairman of the board of Marabouparken Art Institution and been a member of the boards of Wanås Art Park , the Friends of Moderna Museet etc.
Jan is a well-known art collector (contemporary art) in Sweden. Several articles in various papers have been written about his collection.
Jan has participated in several panels and is a frequent speaker on art related issues. His law practice has included arbitration and he has served as arbitrator in commercial disputes.
Jan has a law degree (LLM) from the University of Stockholm and a degree in economics (Civilekonom) from the Stockholm School of Economics. He is a native swedish speaker and fluent in english.
