Laura Reich

Laura is an attorney and arbitrator focused on art law, communications law, and commercial law. She is a founding member of Reich Rodriguez, P.A. in Miami, Florida, USA. She is an adjunct professor at Florida International University School of Law, teaching International and Foreign Legal Research and she also instructs paralegals at the Florida Atlantic University.

Laura‘s law practice has included arbitration since at least 2010. She has served as an Arbitrator in a wide range of commercial disputes at both the domestic and international level, as well as a counsel for litigants in art law disputes. She is listed as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and has participated as a coach and moot judge at the annual Richard de Witt Memorial Vis Arbitration Pre Moot. She has also conducted trainings on arbitration at University of Florida and University of Miami. She was appointed to the original Arbitration pool of CAfA in January 2020.

She is the Editor-in-Chief of The Florida Bar’s International Law Quarterly and co-author of the introductory chapter of The Florida Bar’s forthcoming publication on International Law. She also authored: Reversing the Silk Road: The Rapid Rise of the Art Market in Asia and its Implications, INTERNATIONAL LAW QUARTERLY, vol. XXXIV, no. 2 (Fall 2018); Consider Alternative Dispute Resolution BEFORE You Litigate, THE DADE COUNTY BAR ASSOC. XXXIII, no. 3 (Fall 2017). Laura is also frequent speaker at the iLaw Global Forum on International Law and has lectured extensively on issues related to art law and arbitration.

Laura is on the Executive Committee of The Florida Bar’s International Law Section and is a Past Chair of the Florida International Litigation and Arbitration Conference (“ILAC”). She is also Vice President of Florida’s Children First, an advocacy organization serving the needs of children in Florida state care.
