Nicolás E. Bianchi is an attorney, mediator and arbitrator focused on international public law, investment arbitration, complex litigation, contracts, art law and commercial law. He has been involved in over 35 international complex investment proceedings under the rules of the ICC, ICSID and UNCITRAL, the vast majority of them brought under bilateral investment treaties, for amounts that exceed USD 30 billion.
Forthcoming publications include book chapters on jurisdiction and admissibility in ICSID arbitration. Nicolás E. Bianchi is a frequent speaker and has published extensively on issues related to investment law and arbitration.
Nicolás E. Bianchi’s law practice has included international law and arbitration since 2012. In addition to his work in law firms devoted to international matters, Nicolás has been counsel and advisor in international transactions related to the music industry. Nicolás has been a professor at the University of Buenos Aires in international law and arbitration and is a founding member of the Observatory of International Arbitration and Foreign Investment Law of the University of Buenos Aires as well as of the Argentinian chapter of Energy Related Arbitration Practitioners (ENERAP).
Nicolás is a fluent Spanish and English speaker and has working knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.
