Quinn is an attorney, mediator and arbitrator focused on international dispute resolution, including commercial, international investment, art, copyright, and entertainment law. Quinn co-founded GST LLP, a boutique firm dedicated to international arbitration. Legal500 has ranked GST LLP as “Band 4” in the field of international arbitration, and he is “recommended.” Quinn is a member of the Board of Directors of the Miami International Arbitration Society and has served in leadership roles with the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce and the International Center for Dispute Resolution. He has published extensively on topics related to international arbitration, including as co-editor of a two-volume journal on Latin America and book chapters on res judicata in international arbitration and legislative developments in the United States and Brazil.
Quinn’s law practice has included arbitration and mediation since 2008. He has served as Arbitrator and Mediator in a wide range of commercial disputes at both the domestic and international level. Quinn has represented galleries, dealers, artists, and buyers and sellers in disputes apply Art Law. He has also handled disputes regarding intellectual property rights in arbitration and litigation. Quinn has participated as faculty and judge at law school- and Bar Association- sponsored events, including numerous arbitration moots in English and Spanish, and has conducted trainings for judges in Brazil. He was appointed to the original Arbitration pool of CAfA in January 2020.
Quinn is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Miami International Arbitration Society, past Regional Coordinator for ICC-YAF, past Global Advisory Board member of the ICDR Y&I, and past member of the Executive Council of the International Section of the Florida Bar.
His educational background includes: 2008 (J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law); 2003 (B.A. in Literature & Composition from Texas Tech University). Quinn, being fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, is a frequent speaker on international dispute resolution in all said languages.
