Ross B. Russell

Independent Arbitrator and Mediator; Founder, Russell ADR Group

Ross is an attorney, mediator and arbitrator focused on art law, copyright, entertainment and commercial law. He is a founding member of Law Offices of Ross Russell, PC and Russell ADR Group, Ltd, where he focuses on international arbitration and mediation practice. He has given a multitude of interviews on American legal podcasts and radio programs concerning arbitration and ADR practice. Ross is a frequent speaker at local Texas continuing education seminars and has both written and spoken on varies issues related to art law and international arbitration in various continuing education seminars and conferences.

Ross’s law practice has included arbitration and mediation since 2015. He has served as Arbitrator and Mediator in a wide range of art law and commercial disputes at both the domestic and international level including disputes regarding the sale and license of artistic works and disputes regarding gallery owners and appraisers. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, USCIB (ICC) Panel, LCIA Panel, WIPO Panel, THAC Panel, DIAC Panel, and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Panel of Arbitrators. He is also a court-appointed mediator for Texas State Courts. He has participated as faculty and judge American Bar Association and local Bar Association sponsored ADR events, and has conducted training at various ADR programs. He was appointed to the original Arbitration and Mediation pools of CAfA in January 2020.

Ross is a Past Chair the Texas Environmental Law Society, Co- Chair of the Texas International Law Society, and Co-Chair of the north Texas International Arbitration Society for which he received an Award for furthering the advancement of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Texas. He is a member of the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association, as well as the Dispute Resolution Committee of the American Bar Association, and is licensed to practice law in Texas, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Washington D.C.
