Dr. Srikant Parthasarathy’s law practice has included arbitration and/or mediation since 2007. He has served as Arbitrator and Mediator in a wide range of art law and commercial disputes at both the domestic and international level. He is a member of the International Bar Association, IAC Panel, CPR Neutral Panel, and International Arbitration Panel of Arbitrators at 34 institutions and has deposed as an expert witness for valuation of corporates with art as a part of their assets. He is also a court-appointed mediator for the Arbitration and the Valuation of Corporate Claims pertaining to Art. He has participated as faculty and judge at law school- and Bar Association- sponsored Conferences & Sotheby’s events and has conducted training at the Top Law Schools in the world’s Arbitration program. He was appointed to the original Arbitration and Mediation pools of CAfA in August 2019.
He Co- Chair India Art Arbitration Innovation Forum and received a JGSFL Award for furthering the advancement of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) in ASIA. He is a member of the Expert Committee of the Society of Arts, as well as the Professional Advisors to the Forbes 100 Families in India.
He sits in 34 International Panels of Arbitration, a majority of which are situated in the European Union and The London Court of International Arbitration.
Parthasarathy’s educational background includes: [Chartered Accountant (2nd Rank) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London (Awardee), Alumnus of Christ University (2004). He holds a Doctoral Degree in Game Theory and Investment (emphasis on law) from USA, a recipient of the Oxford Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators London, Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Law from the Gujarat Maritime University (the only maritime university established by the statute and Government of India), Bachelors of Law (JD) , Certified Independent Director, Certified Mediator by the Government of India, CPR Neutral, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Professor in Practice.
