David Evans is an attorney, mediator, and arbitrator with extensive experience in art law, intellectual property, entertainment, employment, and commercial law. He is a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, and is member of the Board of Directors of the American Arbitration Association. He is a frequent speaker on ADR and has published extensively on issues related to arbitration and mediation.

For over 25 years, David Evans’ law practice has included arbitration and mediation. He has served as an Arbitrator or Mediator in over 400 matters, including a wide range of art law and commercial disputes at both the domestic and international level. Art disputes have involved matters of provenance and authenticity, ownership contests, copyright/distribution claims, cultural institution governance controversies, and probate of intellectual property assets.

David Evans is a member of, or on Panels for: American Arbitration Association (Board of Directors, Chair of Budget & Finance Committee, Co-Chair Large Case Committee, Mediation Committee, Master Mediator Panel, and numerous other specialty Panels); International Centre for Dispute Resolution; London Court of International Arbitration; ICC International Court of Arbitration; Court of Arbitration for Sport; International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution; and WIPO.
