Monica is an italian attorney admitted to the Italian Courts in 1996 and to the Italian Supreme Court in 2011. She has been a qualified mediator since 2012.

Her competences are in Art and Cultural Heritage, Inheritance, Family and Real Estate laws and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Her experience in art law includes giving legal assistance to artists and to heirs of artworks and historical properties.

In 2016 she became a mediator at the Milan Chamber of Arbitration, where she has been appointed as a mediator in a wide range of disputes at domestic level.

Monica has been an assessor for the CIM – Italian Mediation Competition between Italian universities. She is also a member of the Legality and Services to Citizens Commission for the Lawyers’ Society of Milan. Monica was appointed to the Mediation pool of CAfA in January 2020.

Her educational background includes: a Law degree at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (1993)”; Altalex School (Master's Degree in Inheritance Law). She has attended a course on Art and Cultural Heritage Law at the Scuola Superiore Sant’ Anna of Pisa and courses on artwork forgery and on violation of rights in the artistic field. She also participated in a training course for mediators on art law disputes at the Milan Chamber of Arbitration. Monica speaks Italian as a native language and speaks English as well.
