Richard is a leading commercial mediator, focused on Art, luxury assets and commercial disputes. He has extensive experience as a senior mediator across a wide spectrum of art and business disputes.
Richard was formerly Head of Dispute Resolution and Executive Partner at Slaughter and May, London with over 30 years experience of commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation at both a domestic and international level.
He is an Honorary Fellow of Harris Manchester College, Oxford and a Fellow of the Commercial Law Centre at the University of Oxford, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of Professional Advisers to the International Art Market. He was appointed to the Mediation pool of the Court of Arbitration for Art in January 2020.
Richard’s educational background includes: LLB(hons) and MCIArb. He is also a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
